The Wicking Tower - Spring Vase Model
Description:
Keep your plants perfectly watered with the Wicking Tower - Spring Vase Model. A durable self-watering cord delivers water directly from a 3 Liter vase. Designed for houseplants, herbs, and planters, this wick uses natural capillary action to supply the ideal amount of moisture — no over-watering, no dry soil. Perfect for vacation watering or long-term, low-maintenance plant care.
I developed this system after being frustrated with watering globes that were constantly getting clogged and not working. The smart watering systems that I tried were expensive, complicated, didn’t look good, and over watered the plants. Unlike watering globes, this wick stays clog-free and constantly works. The package includes a 3 Liter vase and 6 individual wicks.
🌿 Consistent Moisture: Provides steady water delivery through capillary wicking action.
💧 Long-Lasting Material: Twisted proprietary blend resists rot, mildew, and mineral buildup.
☀️ Coated Wicks: Work in direct sunlight and block evaporation.
🌱 Eco-Friendly: Operates with zero electricity and uses water efficiently compared to pour watering.
🕒 Low-Maintenance: Keeps plants watered for an average of 4 weeks.
🚫💧Clog free. Unlike watering globes, the wick cannot get clogged.
Instructions.
1) See the wick set up matrix for number of wicks to use. 2) Fill the vase full of water. 3) Place the wick so that the center of the wick is at the top of the bottle. 4) Dig down near the roots and place the wick down into the soil. The wick needs to be touching or almost touching the roots. 5) For best results, extend the wick to be touching as many roots as possible. 6) Plant the wick into the soil, and press the soil down, firmly on top of the wick. 7) Additional tips: Treat the water in the vase like the gas in your car- if you wait until empty it is too late! For best results, refill when the vase is half full. For best results, use with a moisture control potting soil.
