Our Story

Watering my plants was always something I struggled with. I tried watering globes, but they often clogged and became unreliable. I also used smart watering systems, but they were hard to adjust and did not always look good with the plant. One of the hardest plants to keep watered was a bonsai tree, where water would often run right off the soil. That experience pushed me to create a solution that was simpler, more dependable, and better suited to everyday plant care.

The Wicking Tower was created by Zach Souders and Alexis Ortega. After 3D printing many iterations and testing different designs, I developed a product that was both effective and easy to use. Our flagship product, the Wicking Tower Classic, is shaped like a water tower and delivers slow, steady drip watering for up to one week. Its biggest benefit is convenience: just refill it once a week and let it do the rest. We are proud to share The Wicking Tower with fellow plant owners and help bring more ease, confidence, and happy plants into their homes.
